Lemon Crab

"I'm never down, it's either I'm up or getting up."


The crab is one of our favorite crustaceans. Crabs are known to be sexually dimorph. The males have larger claws that is used for communication. Another difference is the "pleon" (abdomen). Male crabs have narrow and triangular abdomen while females are broader and rounder abdomen. This is because female crabs brood fertilised eggs on their pleonpods, which is located in the abdomen.



INGREDIENTS:

3 lbs crab cut in half

3 tbsp HMK MCT oil

3 tbsp garlic minced

4 tbsp ginger minced

1 cups lemon

1 tbsp crushed red pepper or 3 pieces sliced red chili

3 tbsp HMK Cocoaminos soysauce

3 tbsp Erythritol

1 cup tomato catsup or tomato sauce

1 cup sweet chili sauce

2 tbsp fish sauce

1 tsp sesame oil

2 cup water

3 tbsp green onions or scallions thinly sliced crosswise


INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Heat a cooking pot and pour the HMK MCT oil

2. Saute the garlic, ginger, and crushed red pepper

3. Add the crab and cook for 3 to 4 minutes

4. Put-in the HMK Cocoaminos soysauce, lemon juice, tomato ketchup, sweet chili sauce, fish sauce,and sesame oil then mix with the other ingredients

5. Pour-in the water and bring to a boil then simmer for 10 to 15 minutes or until the sauce gets thick

6. Garnish with green onions on top

7. Serve hot. Share and Enjoy!
